REVEALED: Football League crowds rise above 17m to hit 50-year high
The attendance to English football leagues below the Premier League has hit a 50 year high. I wonder if this is because of the overall economic environment has pushed people out of the EPL price point and into lower-level teams with cheaper tickets or if this is a function of who has been relegated over the past few years? Perhaps it is a function of fairly low competitive balance in the EPL as the best teams stay the same year after year.
