Who writes the stories?

Here is a paragraph from CBS News

Here is a paragraph from Jim Kuhnhenn of the Associated Press:

So, either one plagiarized from the other or they got their paragraph from a third party. I wonder who that might be. It might have been the case that the media were fed paragraphs and stories from the previous administration, but given the media's disdain for the previous administration I wonder if that was actually the case. Now, perhaps, the media is more open to being a collective organ for the administration?


[Update: Thanks for the anonymous comment. I missed the caveat at the bottom of the CBS story. I feel a lot better now, at least in this dimension.]
