A Zogby poll reported at Judicial Watch includes the following question:
So, is this why we didn't "trust" Congress to come up with the bailout plan - rather we went with the White House's plan? How long until the next Congress (with the help of the new Democratic president) takes over the bailout plan and brings the perceived corruption to the problem? And when that happens, will the people blame the Democrats or will the Democrats continue to obfuscate and get away with blaming the Republicans?
You're right about one thing - legislatures have a stronger propensity for "corruption," if you want to call it that, through logrolling, pork, placating special interests, and so on. So tell me two things: 1. What's party affiliation got to do with it? 2. Who's been the majority in congress for 12 of the last 14 years?Post a Comment
