Small town heterogeneity

Today we visited York, South Carolina (a town about 40 miles south of Concord) for an annual apple festival. During the time we were there, perhaps five hundred people were milling around this small town apple orchard. Amongst these people I actually noticed the diversity in college t-shirts and hats:

Regional/local schools:
South Carolina
Coastal Carolina
College of Charleston
Clemson
Duke

Distant schools:
Wisconsin - Eau Claire
Syracuse
U.S. Military Academy
Louisiana Tech
Texas

Interesting.
