From this article concerning the ongoing protests in Myanmar:
BURMA'S main internet link remained shut for a third day straight as the ruling regime tried to curb the flow of information during a bloody crackdown against protestors. "I tried this morning again but it's failed again. I haven't been able to check my email since Friday," said one Yangon residentSo that's how it happens. Government pulls the plug and the rest of the world knows not of what happens within the borders of a country. We can only assume, therefore, that what's happening is all bad.
