The Dec. 2, 1906 NYT reports on the Army-Navy game, which was played on Dec. 1 of that year - the last game of the season. Navy won 10-0 on somewhat sloppy play by Army, which was a bit of a surprise as Army had played the big-boys Harvard, Princeton, and Yale rather tough that year.
Towards the end of the story there is a report of a Navy chant taken from Army Blue:
Army Blue! Army Blue! What will we do to you.
I don't know any Army or Navy chants, but one gets the feeling there are others that are a little more colorful.
Army-Navy is, in my opinion, one of the most amazing spectacles in sport.
