Because someone has to do it

I am the last person to belittle anyone's research, after all I have written a paper concerning Benford's Law and links to blogs - who cares about that? Nevertheless, sometimes I do get a chuckle about some of the questions that are asked, investigated, tested, written, and published.

A few cases in point from the latest issue of the International Journal of Consumer Studies:

  • The quality of cooking oil used in informal food processing in Malawi: a preliminary study
  • Impact of stitch density on seam strength, seam elongation, and seam efficiency
  • Learning unit prices in a new currency
