that there is a housing bubble:
House prices are rising so fast in 22 US states that they have created a "bubble" that could burst in the middle of next year according to two physicists (physics/0506027). The same team previously predicted that the UK housing market would crash in mid-2004.
Markets are complex systems, and there might be a role for physics - which is the study of complex systems. I wonder if physicists treat economic man as a rational being or like an electron.
Either way, more confirmation that you don't need an economics degree to feel obligated to share your opinion about economics.
