Why is Michael Jackson going to the hospital for back pain? I am not a fan of means testing, but is Jacko's back an emergent case which requires the local hospital. While superstar celebreties have private dog walkers and shoe shiners, Jacko doesn't have a doc on call to help with his chronic back problems?
What is the opportunity cost of Jacko's time in the ER?
Here's the hospital's website. It is a small hospital - only 22 beds?
Is Jacko playing for sympathy votes with the jury that isn't supposed to hear about such things?
This economist's prediction: Guilty on at least a few counts but no jail time. How about a permanent restraining order from kids less than 18?
