A glance at the U.S. economy

Some interesting numbers here.

Interesting how we don't hear much about unemployment today although last September and October we were in the worst economy in decades when it came to unemployment. The trade imbalance will likely increase in the near term as the import price index is increasing. On the other hand, payrolls are up although average hourly earnings aren't increasing as fast as the PPI and the CPI.

I'm not a macroeconomist, but things aren't terrible across the board and in many ways things are looking pretty good.
