Just finished re-reading Futility or The Wreck of the Titan by Morgen Robertsen. It is the most eerie instance of prophetic fiction I have seen. Written in 1898, it is a story of the largest ship of its day that sinks on its maiden voyage from England to New York by hitting an iceberg in the North Atlantic. Every April 15 I try to re-read the story as Robertsen dreamed(?) it.
